She has expertise in the field of pediatric liver disease, endoscopy and gastrointestinal /abdominal diseases.

She is a pioneer in the field of pediatric hepatology and liver transplantation and is credited with the evolution and establishment of the busiest Pediatric Liver Transplant Programme in the country. She has been honoured with the prestigious Dr. B.C. National Award by Hon’ble President of India in 2016
