Dr. Kansal’s academic credentials include MBBS, MS (General Surgery) and Mch(Neurosurgery), from the prestigious King George’s Medical College, Lucknow, has the distinction of having handled more than 4,500 Brain Surgeries, 2,000 Cases Of Spine Surgery, 500 patient cases of anterior cervical microdiscectomy and 60 cases of disc replacement. Dr. Anil Kansal BLK has practiced his area of expertise which includes Epilepsy Surgery, Aneurysm Clipping, Skull Base Surgery, Neuromodulation (for pain management), and Neurovascular Surgery, Percutaneous Discectomy, for more than 23 years. He also trained in Advanced Spinal Surgeries, Nucleoplasty, by MAST training from Singapore General Hospital.

Head -Neuro Spine of BLK Centre for Neurosciences. Dr. Kansal has joined us from Fortis

Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi where he was the Director & HOD, Neurosurgery & Spine

Surgery. Dr. Kansal has moved to BLK Super Speciality Hospital to further strengthen our strong

previously associated with King George’s Medical College, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital,

VIMHANS and Max Hospital, besides others.

Dr. Kansal has the distinction of having successfully handled more than 4500 brain surgeries,

2000 cases of spine surgery, 500 cases of anterior cervical microdiscectomy, 60 cases of disc

replacement, 400 cases of aneurysm clipping, 50 cases of degenerative spine scoliosis, 500 cases of

endoscopic brain surgeries and 30 surgeries of microvascular decompression for trigeminal

neuralgia and hemifacial spasm, just to mention a few.
