Dr. Harshavardhan Hegde has completed his M.S (Orthopedics) from Baroda Medical College in 1987. He has over 30 years of extensive surgical, clinical and teaching experience in the field of Orthopedics. He has trained at renowned centres She Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre Oxford, UK and at Klinikum Karlsbad, Germany among the world’s premier institutions in spinal surgery. Dr. Hegde has also undertaken specific specialist training in US, Australia, Brussels and Budapest.ln India, he had practiced and taught undergraduate and post graduate students in Pramukh Swami Medical College at Karamsad Gujarat. Dr. Hegde is one of the first persons in the country to perform robotic spinal surgery in 2013. He has also operated extensively in Middle East and Iraq.
