Dr. Varun Mittal

Dr. Varun Mittal is an expert in Kidney Transplantation and Advanced Robotic Urologic Cancer Surgery, with a special focus on complex procedures such as swap/paired kidney exchange, ABO/HLA incompatible transplants, and deceased organ kidney transplants. Over the past decade, he has played a pivotal role in establishing and advancing kidney transplant programs in prestigious institutions.
Dr. Mittal’s academic journey is marked by numerous accolades, including a Gold Medal from the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI) for the best robotic surgery video. In 2015, he was awarded the International Travel Fellowship by the American Urological Association, recognizing his contributions to the field. He has also authored several book chapters and research articles, and his work has been featured in numerous national and international conferences, where he has presented research papers, posters, and surgical videos.
