Dr. Tarun Suri leads the Spine Surgery Division at Amrita Hospital, Faridabad. He completed his MBBS, MS in Orthopaedic Surgery, and Senior Residency from the renowned Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), New Delhi. As a fellowship-trained spine surgeon, he received extensive training at the high-volume Park Clinic in Kolkata, where he honed his skills in a variety of spine surgeries under the mentorship of both Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon Dr. Saumyajit Basu and Neurosurgeons. Dr. Suri earned his FNB (Spine Surgery), the only super-specialty spine surgery program in India recognized by the National Medical Council (NMC). He further expanded his expertise in the Neurosurgery department at Park Clinic, working under the guidance of Dr. Sandip Chatterjee, which provided him with the unique advantage of mastering techniques from both Orthopaedic and Neuro-spine surgeons.
After completing his training, Dr. Suri joined Maulana Azad Medical College and Lok Nayak Hospital as teaching faculty, where he successfully handled a wide range of spine surgeries, from routine to highly complex cases, over the last six years. He also mentored numerous Orthopaedic surgery trainees and contributed to the education of MBBS and MS students. As a regular faculty member, speaker, and expert at various spine surgery conferences and training programs, Dr. Suri continues to be deeply involved in advancing spine surgery. With more than a decade of exclusive focus on spinal conditions, he has performed a vast array of complex spine surgeries with remarkable success.
